akanetti is a Narrative Visual Artist & Writer based in Tokyo.
After living in Japan, the UK, and Australia, she began drawing small stories about everyday absurdities — the kind that make you smile quietly on the train or bus.

Her work blends hand-drawn textures, simple black ink, gentle colors, and words that feel like small conversations.

Having worked in more than 25 jobs (including some very random ones), she now creates art and essays that remind people it’s perfectly okay to be a little weird — and wonderfully human:)
